DATA MANAGEMENTPlatform layer

Library of Alexandria

The data management layer. Classification, sovereignty, lifecycle, and cataloging: the record of truth every other layer reasons from.

Function

AI is only as trustworthy as the data it reasons from.

The foundation of the stack. Retrieval that finds the nearest match instead of the authoritative version produces confident answers from the wrong document. The Library exists so that cannot happen quietly.
Cataloging

One catalog of record

Documents, datasets, and knowledge bases registered with an owner, a version, and an explicit record-of-truth designation. Copies are marked as copies.

Classification

Classification at the source

Sensitivity labels assigned where data is cataloged and honored everywhere: WALDO enforces them, Mori respects them, MENTOR trains within them.

Sovereignty

Sovereignty by construction

Data location and movement rules are properties of the record. Data that must not leave a boundary cannot be routed across it.

Integrity

Content-addressed integrity

Every artifact is hashed at registration (SHA-256). A system can verify it is reasoning over the authentic version, not a stale or altered copy.

Lineage

Provenance and lifecycle

Where each record came from, who changed it, what superseded it, and when it expires. Answers can cite the exact version used.

Queryable

Ask before you answer

Agents and models query the Library for the current authoritative version before responding, grounding output on truth instead of proximity.

Next step

Start with your messiest corpus.

A briefing shows cataloging, classification, and verified retrieval against real documents.
